last friday was my cousin's wedding. since in a few months i will be having my wedding, i really observed his wedding and made a few mental notes about it.
i have to say that my cousin did a good job. he was only given 2-3 months to prepare for the wedding. he did most of the preparing since his w2b was out of the country at that time. however, there are still some things that needs to be improved on.
i can now see the importance of a coordinator or at least someone who really knows how to coordinate. i was a secondary sponsor, candle. the bridesmaid who acts as the coord. gave us the candle that was supposed to be used by the couple for the unity candle ceremony.
after the wedding ceremony and the pictures, ala ng processional. kanya2x na kami. doesn't look that good if you see it in video.
this is very important! in the invitation that my cousin sent us. he indicated how many seats are available to us. however, may mga pasaway talaga na guests. medyo na late kami ng dating sa reception. wala kaming upuan. as in we ended up eating at the nearby restaurant. sa swan. intramuros kasi wedding reception niya eh. kami pa naman "important" na guest niya, kasi kaming mga nawalan ng seats ay ang mga kamag-anak niya eh. close lahat kami sa kanya.
so dapat talaga you have to remind people kung ilan lang ang alloted na seats sa kanila. and sa mga guests naman wag na sanang pasaway. wag na rin selfish kasi naman hindi ganun ka mura magplan ng wedding eh.
so i never really had the chance to watch the reception ceremony. but it was kind of sabog daw.
but i love the flowers! so cute! hingin ko nga contact details when they get back from their honeymoon. 
so here are just some of the things i've learned. so in my wedding:
-i will be making sure that they follow the alloted slots for the guests
-make a reception program
-seating arrangement

on a totally unrelated note: i just want to rant na sobrang bastos yung mil ng cousin ko. kasama kasi kami sa hotel para magpa mu and we were in the room of the bride para magpa ayos ng hair. she was there and when the bride introduced her to my mom(principal sponsor siya) she didn't even acknowledge my mom. as in deadma. tpos biglang sabi ng "ngayon ka lang magpapakilala ng mga kamag-anak ng mapapangasawa mo, ni magulang hindi ko nakilala" with matching smug on her face. kawawang bride. umiyak ng umiyak. during the mass and the picture taking talagang expressionless ang face. she didn't smile. and she wasn't talking to us. sungit talaga.
